'Two-basket' healthcare system postponed again in Latvia

The Saeima has postponed the introduction of the so-called ‘two healthcare service baskets’ principle for a further year – until 31 December next year – as decided by parliament on Thursday during the second and final reading under an urgent procedure. The introduction of this principle has been postponed for several years now, Latvian Radio reports.
