264 million euro contract signed for Rīga Airport rail link

In order to create a new railway connection between RIX Riga Airport and Riga Central Railway Station, which will serve as a section of Rail Baltica in the future, “Latvijas dzelzceļš” (Latvian Railways/LDz) has signed an agreement with the Central Finance and Contracts Agency on the implementation of a European Union funds project, a release said on October 16th.
