Lack of funding leaves Sigulda less scenic and accessible than it might be

Every autumn, Sigulda is visited by many visitors who go there to see the autumn colours in the Gauja valley. Unfortunately, due to insufficient or irregular maintenance, some of the scenic areas are overgrown with trees and bushes, and dead or fallen trees pose a threat to popular walking paths.
